The Call for Abstracts for the 2024 WWRM is now closed.

The Renewable Energy Wildlife Institute (REWI) releases this Call for Abstracts for presentations at the 15th biennial Wind Wildlife Research Meeting (WWRM) in Corpus Christi, Texas. Presentation options include in-person oral presentations, virtual oral presentations (to be pre-recorded and viewed by attendees on-demand), and in-person poster presentations. REWI will review the submissions and craft the WWRM agenda from this Call for Abstracts.

Submission Process: The submission portal is now closed. If you experienced any technical difficulties with the abstract submission process, please email wwrm@rewi.org 

Submission Deadline: Submissions were accepted until 11:59 pm PT on June 10, 2024 **Extended from 6/3**

Submission Instructions 

Submitting authors will be required to provide the following information in response to this call for abstracts: 

  • Presentation title (using sentence case) 
  • Presenting author, including affiliation(s) and email address(es)  
  • Co-author(s), including affiliation(s) and email address(es) 
  • Relevant topics of interest (selected from the above list) 
  • Abstract (500-word maximum) including: 
    • Research motivations and objectives, including hypotheses being tested 
    • Research setting and timeframe 
    • Methodology  
    • Summary of results, indicating whether they are preliminary or final, and scope of inference 
    • Management implications of the findings 

Preferred presentation format: 

  • In-person Oral Presentation 
  • In-Person Poster 
  • On-Demand Oral Presentation
