About the Venue

The 20-story Clyde Hotel offers business and leisure travelers a place of connection, comfort, and engagement at the heart of downtown. The interior design reflects a Pueblo Deco design motif with a touch of western grittiness and eastern elegance, reflecting the grandeur and confidence of the ethos of Clyde Tingley through a vibrant color palette. Guest rooms maintain the design aesthetic of a reimagined New Mexico future with a comfortable and relaxing approach. Clyde and Carrie Tingley can be felt through refined touches. In addition to the 386 guest rooms and suites with views of the city and the Sandia Mountains, The Clyde offers a rooftop pool with hot tubs, a 24-hour fitness center, more than 30,000 square feet of function space, a full-service business center, a contemporary wedding chapel, complimentary Wi-Fi, valet and secured self-parking, and more.
Transportation
The Clyde Hotel is located in the heart of downtown Albuquerque, minutes from both I-25 and I-40, providing easy access to all areas of the city. The Albuquerque International Sunport is 5.2 miles away (a 10-minute drive), and the hotel is only 3 blocks from Alvarado Train Station and ABQ Rapid Transit public transportation.
Region-at-a-Glance
New Mexico ranks among the top five states in wind energy potential as well as tenth in the nation for installed capacity with 4,300+ MW. Neighbors Texas (42,700+ MW) and Oklahoma (13,000+ MW) lead in installed capacity at #1 and #2, respectively. In 2024, New Mexico produced 37% of its electricity (and 74% of the state’s renewable energy) from wind energy and currently boasts the largest renewable energy infrastructure project in U.S. history.
The state is home to a rich biodiversity, with over 150 species of non-marine native mammals, second only to California. Thanks in large part to the unique ecosystems found in the Sacramento Mountains and Rio Grande basin, the state hosts over 100 endemic plant and animal species, including the Gypsum wild buckwheat and Sacramento Mountains checkerspot butterfly.
REWI has a history of collaboration with researchers across the Western U.S., including Albuquerque’s Sandia National Laboratory and Colorado’s National Laboratory of the Rockies and its National Wind Technology Center, and looks forward to building further connections at this year’s WWRM.
