About the Meeting
The biennial Wind Wildlife Research Meeting (WWRM) provides an internationally recognized forum for attendees to share and engage in the latest science addressing the risk of wind energy to wildlife and developing solutions to avoid, minimize, and offset impacts. The meeting also brings together thought leaders to discuss priority topics and themes on these issues. Academics, researchers, conservation scientists, consultants, federal and state officials, NGO representatives, and industry professionals come together every other year for this unique opportunity. The 15th biennial WWRM was held from November 12-15, 2024 in Corpus Christi, Texas, and welcomed 400+ attendees from 43 U.S. states and 13 additional countries.
The meeting is organized and presented by REWI, with input provided by a multi-stakeholder planning committee. In-person and virtual attendance is open to all. View REWI’s Research Meeting FAQs for more information.
